Ensuring Your Peace of Mind With Full Coverage

Yes, McQuagge Electric gives a 1-Year Material Warranty on material supplied by McQuagge Electric and a 5-Year Warranty on McQuagge's Craftsmanship. Materials are the products used to create the electrical system for equipment. Craftsmanship is the degree of skill with which a material is installed. McQuagge Electric Company shall determine if said item complies with product installation and NEC code.

The 5 Year warranty covers travel and labor for installation and replacement and does not cover material or equipment. It starts at the completion of the project.

All the electrical material provided, travel, and labor for installed by McQuagge Electric Company on a project.

The 1 and 5 Year warranty does not cover:

  • Customer supplied material and equipment.
  • Failure caused by any act of God or external cause including without limitations, fire, theft, freezing, heat, war, lighting, earthquakes, windstorm, hail, water, tornado, hurricane, or any other matters which are reasonably beyond McQuagge Electric Company control
  • Failure due to normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, modification or alternation by others, or rodent and or insect infestation.
  • Light bulb, lamp, batteries, fuses, and any related labor

No, McQuagge Electric Company does not provide a warranty on the equipment. The manufacturer of the equipment may provide a warranty.

The item may be a warranty-covered item, but the way it failed may not. Improper installations, lack of maintenance, and damage outside the warranty scope. Manufactures require us to check these items for warranty compliance and we also have to send some parts off for testing. Until we get those results, it is undetermined if the warranty will cover it. The manufacture does not pay on Non-warranty issues and payment is required for non-warranty covered services. This upfront clarification of charges allows both parties to agree on the process to completion.

Customer-supplied items are not covered under the McQuagge Electric Company warranty. During installation, we do check customer-supplied items for visual damage, and we test after installation is complete for operation. The installation is a warranty-covered item. The item is not covered, examples: Lights, wire, receptacles, etc... McQuagge Electric Company requires these items to be checked for warranty compliance and if the warranty will cover it. Payment is required for our service if not covered under warranty. This upfront clarification of charges allows both parties to agree on the process to completion.
